RT 07 | Jayson Gaignard: Turning Your Life Around
On today’s episode, we have the wonderful Jayson Gaignard, Founder of MastermindTalks, an invitation-only community for the top entrepreneurs in the world. Jayson is also the Founder of Catalyst Community, a highly curated community for growth-oriented entrepreneurs.
Never enthused by academics, Jayson dropped out of high school to become an automotive mechanic. After this, Jayson ran a personal concierge business for a bit before pivoting into the eCommerce business. While he tasted commercial success, this was a business that he did not enjoy at all. In 2011, this business went downhill, leaving Jayson newly married with a six-month old daughter and a $250,000 dollars in debt.
Jayson talks about his mental health struggles at this point in his life. Grappling with suicidal thoughts, Jayson managed to pull himself back together just in time. He talks about the various emotions that raced through his mind at this point – emotions too complex to process.
In the next segment, Jayson shares how the idea for MastermindTalks came into being. He shares the importance of community and what it really means to have someone’s back. He also talks about living a life where he is aligned, doing what he loves to truly do while making money at the same time.
A supporter of mental health, Jayson’s episode is vulnerable, real, and touching. We hope you enjoy this show!
